Oil filter Description

The oil filter is located in the engine lubrication system. Role to filter out harmful impurities in the oil from the oil pan, and supply the crankshaft, connecting rod, camshaft, supercharger, piston ring and other moving pairs with clean oil, play the role of lubrication, cooling, cleaning, so as to extend the life of these parts. Although the oil filter is isolated from the outside world, impurities in the surrounding environment are difficult to enter the engine, but there are still impurities in the oil.
Impurities fall into two categories:
1) One is the metal particles worn down in the operation of the engine parts and the dust and sand from the refueling mouth when the oil is added.
2) The other is organic matter, which is black mud, which is a substance produced by chemical changes in the high temperature state of the oil during the operation of the engine. They deteriorate oil performance, weaken lubrication, and stick to moving parts, increasing resistance.
The former type of metal particles will accelerate the crankshaft, camshaft and other shafts and bearings in the engine, as well as the lower cylinder and piston ring
The gap between the sleeve and the piston ring is large, and the oil rushes to the top of the piston ring, causing the burning of oil, increasing the amount of oil and forming carbon deposits. At the same time, the fuel drains into the oil pan, making the oil thin and the oil ineffective. These are extremely unfavorable to the performance of the machine, resulting in black smoke from the engine, a serious drop in power, and forcing an overhaul in advance. (Oil filter is the same as human kidney function)
How to install oil filter?
Installation:
a) Drain or blot old oil
b) Loosen the set screw and remove the old oil filter
c) Apply a coat of oil to the seal ring of the new oil filter
d) Install new oil filter and tighten set screws.
Oil Filter Function:
When the engine is running, the byproducts of combustion such as soot and carbides will be mixed into the oil. These abrasive profits, if not effectively removed, will cause great damage to the engine components. The purpose of the oil filter is to prevent harmful particles from entering the engine through inefficient oil filters, engine air intakes or pistons.
